Pretty good, but timed entry was tight

I bought General Admission tickets for my family. The interactive exhibits were really creative and the free ice cream scoops were a pleasant surprise. We especially enjoyed the Ice Cream Making Workshop, which was informative and fun. My only minor issue was the timed entry system; it felt a little rushed moving between rooms. We wanted to linger a bit longer in some areas, but felt pushed along by the next group. Overall, it's a unique experience and decent value for the ticket price, but maybe they could adjust the timing slightly.

Chill time with friends

Me and a couple of buddies hit up the Museum of Ice Cream last weekend. It was pretty fun, way more interactive than I thought it would be. The boozy milkshakes were a nice touch, and yeah, you really can get unlimited ice cream which is cool. The whole place is super colorful, felt like a good vibe for an afternoon out. Not super educational or anything, but a solid way to spend a few hours.

Loved the sprinkle pool!

Oh my goodness, I had the BEST time at the Museum of Ice Cream! The Sprinkle Pool Experience was everything I hoped for and more. I felt like a kid again, just swimming in sprinkles! The unlimited ice cream treats were such a nice bonus, too. I'm already planning my next visit and telling all my friends they HAVE to go!

Fun experience, good ice cream

We went for General Admission. The exhibits were colorful and the ice cream was tasty. The sprinkle pool was a highlight. Good for a quick visit.

Is this place more for little kids or would a bunch of adults still have fun? Trying to plan a bachelorette thing.

W William Perez 2 weeks ago
Definitely for adults too! Went with my girlfriends and we had a blast, especially in the sprinkle pool. Plenty of photo ops and the boozy milkshakes were a hit.

It's kinda aimed at both, honestly. Little kids love it, but there's enough quirky stuff and good treats that adults enjoy it too. Plus, unlimited ice cream is good at any age.

Anyone know if they actually let you change your ticket date? My plans are kinda up in the air next month.

R Richard 1 month ago
I had to change mine a while back and it was surprisingly easy. Just contact them, I think there might be a small fee depending on when you do it.

They usually do, but check your confirmation email. I think it depends on how far out it is from your original date.

quick question: can I use a promo code if I'm booking tickets for a group? Like 10 people?

S Sandra 3 weeks ago
I think most promo codes are for individual tickets, but sometimes they have group specific discounts. Worth checking the fine print on the code you have.

From what I remember, usually no. Promo codes are generally for regular admissions. For groups, you usually have to contact them directly for a group rate. They might have a different kind of discount for that size.

Comparing this to Color Factory, is it really worth the price difference? Color Factory felt a bit more interactive.

K Karen L. 1 month ago
MOIC is definitely more food-focused with the ice cream and treats. Color Factory is pure visual/interactive art. If you love ice cream and bright colors, MOIC is fun. CF is more 'art gallery' but interactive.

Hmm, I think MOIC leans heavier on the 'museum' part with the themed rooms and unlimited treats. Color Factory is cool but a little different vibe. Depends if you want more food or just art experiences.

Thinking of taking my fam, but is it like, REALLY unlimited ice cream? Or just like a tiny sample here and there?

B Ben 2 weeks ago
Yeah, it's pretty legit. They have different stations and you can go back for more as much as you want. My kids went nuts.

It's unlimited for sure, but like, you'll probably get full before you hit 'unlimited' levels lol. They give you decent scoops though, not just tiny tastes.
